Essentially a movie about zombies, the 2008 remake of this TV and Film horror is set in the small town of Leadville in Colorado. It's the type of place where government agencies carrying out secret experiments and unwittingly release a virus. You've guessed the rest? One of the famous films to be shown regularly at Halloween, it features young couple Trevor and Nina as the main characters along with military officers Captain Rhodes and Corporal Sarah Bowman. Although plodding around in a scarily catatonic state, the zombies in this movie also have special powers. The latter allows them to perform such superhuman feats as crawl along ceilings and jump huge distances over walls etc (unfortunately these abilities we can't supply along with the fancy dress couples costumes here at fancydress365!). Although the film wasn't a huge hit, the zombie characters were big news and no adult Halloween fancy dress or truly scary Halloween party is complete without a token zombie - of both sexes, we reckon.
